The question is often asked, If the Church spiritual and invisible be meant, then our answer is, “Of divine origin.” Its very material is furnished by the renewing and sanctifying grace of God. Its life is a divine, supernatural life. Its bonds of union are the fruits of the Spirit. It was born in the mind and heart of Christ.
